0th General Information

First Main Menu

After switching the device displays the main menu.

By pressing the function keys F1, F2 and F3, the three modes mashing, boiling and fermentation can be selected.Used functions are mashing and boiling.

The optional fermentation is also programmed. To use it requires a retrofit with a separate 230 V power socket on the control box and an additional port for a temperature sensor to the controller and the delivery of an additional NTC probe. It may be a cooling unit to 1.5 kW controlled directly.

Second Mashing (F1)

2.1 Mode brewing mashes

After selecting the F1 key, the following display appears.

2.2. Edit mashing

Third Cooking (F2)

3.1 Brewing Cooking Mode
After pressing the F2 key is cooking the meal with which the target and actual values are displayed for cooking.

3.2 edit Cooking

4.1 fermenting brew mode

5th Programmed values at delivery

The following setpoints are preset:
Mashing:
Catching step 1: temperature = 53 ° C / time = 15min
Resting stage 2: Temperature = 63 ° C / time = 20min

Resting stage 4: Temperature = 78 ° C / time = 10min
Temperature tolerance (delta T)
To restore power = 2 ° C.

Cooking:
For target = 98 ° C
Set at = 96 ° C
Time = 90 min
Ferment:

The function is optionally available for installing an additional outlet and the connection of an additional NTC sensor.
Temperature = 12 ° C,

6th Note on wort boiling

Cooking temperature varies with altitude. To avoid excessive steam development, the two set points for the one-off and should be adjusted to the altitude. Moreover, it is quite sufficient for the cooking process if the value is between 94 ° C to 98 ° C..

The adjusted value of 98 ° C corresponds to an altitude of about 500 m. Fluctuations caused by high and low pressure areas are not included.
